Hi, I'm Venancio Velloso, Founder of WebPesados, a marketplace of heavy equipment
Serial entrepreneur with internet/technology startup experience. Founder of three internet start-ups using the most innovative technologies, developing business strategies, and optimal cost structure. Solid experience in early stage business development, strategic thinking, raising capital and marketing and sales tactics. VTEX, his first internet start-up, developed one of the top e-commerce platforms nationwide, supporting niche oriented online stores, such as: Sacks, Estacao do Vinho, Rozenlandia, and later on, some multinational clients, like: Wal-mart, Polishop, and Agora. It is also one of the founders of the E-commerce Summit, known for, connecting e-commerce experts and executives all accross Latin America. With VTEX experience he spined-off to startup Sapatino, one of the first online shoes and accessories retailers in Brazil, which was later sold in mid 2008 to a Private Equity fund in Brazil. In addition to develop two internet start-ups, Venancio has also worked as an advisor/consultant, with a diverse range of clients, including Trialpay, ezLearn, and a number of startups and early stage ventures. After harvesting from his second internet endeavor, he founded WebPesados, a online marketplace for heavy equipment.
