VTEX, his first internet start-up, developed one of the top e-commerce platforms nationwide, supporting niche oriented online stores, such as: Sacks, Estacao do Vinho, Rozenlandia, and later on, some multinational clients, like: Wal-mart, Polishop, and Agora. It is also one of the founders of the E-commerce Summit, known for, connecting e-commerce experts and executives all accross Latin America. With VTEX experience he spined-off to startup Sapatino, one of the first online shoes and accessories retailers in Brazil, which was later sold in mid 2008 to a Private Equity fund in Brazil. In addition to develop two internet start-ups, Venancio has also worked as an advisor/consultant, with a diverse range of clients, including Trialpay, ezLearn, and a number of startups and early stage ventures. After harvesting from his second internet endeavor, he founded WebPesados, a online marketplace for heavy equipment.
